It isn't all bad news! We do have a number of Australia Wide Stockists that stock a wide variety of our Epoxy Resin Systems and Pigments.
Find our Stockists here.
We ship all of our products to anywhere within Australia (including rural, regional and isolated locations).

We recommend shipping your orders to a safe location, ideally where you are primarily situated (ie. Workplace) to ensure you can sign and accept your own goods.
If you have received the Confirmation of Completion email but there is no tracking attached, this likely means you have selected "Click & Collect" and your order will be ready for collection.
If this is the case and you have done so by accident, please email us at: info@uresin.com.au with your order number and shipping address so we can obtain a shipping quote for payment. Once the shipping has been paid we can process it for shipping.

We are a 100% Australian Owned and Operated family business that formulates and blends our own range of epoxy resin systems and pigments.
We are one of very few Epoxy Manufacturers that imports raw materials to formulate and blend various systems within Australia.
All of our resin systems and pigments are packed, labelled and boxed in supplies all sourced from other Australian Manufacturers.
This is largely why we have no resin shortages or out of stock systems, unlike other brands, as we source everything within Australia.
We also support a number of other Australian Businesses to supply Art Boards, Cheeseboards, River Tables, Pigments, Silicone, Silica Beads and more.
All of our resin kits are packed and sold as a total kit size. This means if you are ordering (for example):
- 4L Liquid Glass Kit (1:1 ratio), you will receive 2L of Part A and 2L of Part B.
- 3L Cast Kit (2:1 ratio), you will receive a 2L of Part A and 1L of Part B.
This applies for all of our epoxy resin kits, with individual parts not available for purchase. All our product images correspond to the kit you are purchasing, so please select carefully and choose the correct size for you. You can find all of these available under each product category in our shop.
If in the instance, you have actually received the incorrect resin kit size, please send us an email to: info@uresin.com.au with your Full Name, Order Number & Pictures of the kit you have received.
We have created a Resin Compatibility Chart that shows you all of our current epoxy resin systems and what type of projects they are most suitable for.
Some projects can be used with other resin systems, however we always recommend testing on a small scale to ensure the resin products will do what you are trying to achieve.
To view our Resin Compatibility Chart, click here.
If you are new to working with epoxy resin or new to using a different type of epoxy resin, we have a huge amount of information available to help guide you as best we can through the processes.
If you are brand new, we recommend looking at our Resin Compatibility Chart and Colour Charts.
We have a huge number of Frequently Asked Questions as well as a number of helpful Blog Posts.
We also have all of our safety and technical data sheets readily available under our Guides & Data.
You can even find a range of Videos we post on YouTube which can help with tips on certain project types.
Not to mention, all our resin kits come inclusive of basic safety and working instructions.
Not matter whether you are brand new or experienced with resin, if you are attempting a new resin project we would always recommend starting small and doing a sample pour.
We can provide an abundance of information, however all information we do provide is of a general nature. As there are so many different types of resin applications, not all information will apply to every type of resin project. Nor are we able to predict the type of project you are going to complete.
See our YouTube Video for a correct mixing tutorial: https://youtu.be/InkDvY65EXM
Or Read our Blog Post here.
We recommend using either our 400ml, 600ml 1L, 2L or 4L Measuring jugs with measurements provided which you can measure equal parts of A and B into before mixing.
With a stirrer or scraper begin mixing the resin and hardener together.
Mix for 3 minutes ensuring you scrape the sides, walls and the bottom and edges of the container.
Alternatively a great mixing method is to mix for 2 minutes, scraping the sides and bottom of the container, then pouring the contents of the jug into a new/ clear mixing jug and mixing for an additional 1 minute.
Unfortunately, we do not offer wholesale/ trade pricing to new customers and only manufacture and supply our resin systems and various products direct to the public.
The larger the resin volume kit, the cheaper our kits are per litre, making it more cost effective to use.
Our brand, values and product knowledge are all important aspects of our business. For this reason, we have a process and minimum requirements for businesses to meet before we will consider them as an ambassador or stockist.
To be considered as a U RESIN Stockist, we do require a minimum 12-month previous purchase history, good knowledge on our full product range, a minimum spend per stockist order placed and the confirmation/ approval with our existing State based Stockists.
If you feel your business meets these criteria, then please fill out the following Stockist Application. (Only 1 application per business is allowed)
Our Team will then be in contact with you and any necessary stockists with further information.
We are currently accepting Australian Stockist Applications if you are located in the following areas:
- Geraldton (All Resin and Pigments)
- Port/South Hedland (All Resin and Pigments)
- Tasmania (All Resin and Pigments)
- Darwin (All Resin and Pigments)
- Sunshine Coast (All Resin and Pigments)
- South Australia (All Resin and Pigments)
- Canberra (All Resin and Pigments)
Unfortunately due to the significant cost of shipping and insurance we are unable to ship our Resin systems internationally. However, we are happy to accept International Pigment Stockists:
- Singapore
- United States
- New Zealand
If you fit the following criteria, be sure to submit the following
Stockist Application. (Only 1 application per business is allowed)
Our Team will then be in contact with you and any necessary stockists with further information.
Our brand, values and product knowledge are all important aspects of our business. For this reason, we have a process and minimum requirements for artists to meet before we will consider them as an ambassador.
Currently our Ambassador program is by invite only. However, if you are a long standing U RESIN customer, with good product knowledge, frequent use of our resin systems and happy to promote our products, we would be happy to consider you as a U RESIN Ambassador.
If you feel you meet the criteria, then please fill out the following Ambassador Application. (Only 1 application per business is allowed)
Our Team will then be in contact with you and any necessary stockists with further information.
As a West Australian manufacturer of Epoxy Resin systems and supplies, we have the capabilities to formulate, blend and supply various epoxy resin systems.
We currently manufacture a range of products including Coating Systems, Casting Systems & Pigments for a number of other suppliers around Australia.
All Toll Blending, Formulas, Product Names and Customers are strictly private and confidential under contract.
If you are an Australian business looking for a new resin manufacturer (toll blender) or wanting to re-brand, apply via our Rebrander Application.
Safety is extremely important, especially when working with epoxy resins!
If you are under 16 years of age or pregnant, please DO NOT use epoxy resin (of any brand). Keep away from children and pets.
All of our resin systems come with basic safety & working instructions. Please read these before use. We would also recommend finding a suitable and comfortable respirator with organic P2 filter protection, if you are unable to work in a well ventilated, low-traffic area.
Nitrile gloves should also be worn whenever handling or working with resin.
For more in depth information on Safety Procedures and individual product Safety Data Sheets visit Guides & Data.
All of our Technical Data Sheets, Basic Safety & Working Instructions and Safety Data Sheets can be easily accessed and downloaded under the Guides & Data section under 'Learn'.
We do our best to have consistent supply of the range of pigments we formulate and manufacture.
However sometimes if a raw ingredient is unavailable or delayed, this can cause delays in us being able to remanufacture.
Due to COVID-19, there are now on-going significant delays and shortages for certain raw materials. This means some materials are not easily accessible, delaying our manufacturing time.
We recommend purchasing larger volumes of pigments you wish to re-purchase to avoid disappointment in extended re-manufacturing times.
Pigments that contain Titanium Di-Oxide (White) in the formulation, are always heavier than others, meaning they will fill less volume in the jars.
Colours that appear ‘less’ in the jar are very dense pigments, as opposed to the other colours. However are still the same weight as all other pigment jars.
Example of jars that commonly appear less full include: Pure White, Snow White, Mercury, Turquoise Seas, Beach Sand & Pastel Like colours.
Ensure your artworks have no sticky spots or uncured resin, and allow the artworks to fully cure before packing and shipping to your customers.
We have a video available on our YouTube Channel with how we pack artworks before shipping them off. Find our video here.
We would also recommend wrapping in tissue paper first, and then finishing with cardboard or a box to ensure the best safety of your artworks when shipping. Fragile tape or stickers are also handy.
Resin can be quite the sticky mess, meaning if you aren't careful it can get all over your tools and accessories that you are using. Here are the best ways to clean and keep clean, the tools you use.
1. Heat Guns - Cover the handle and switch with masking tape and remove once dirty/ hard. If your switch gets stuck, use another heat source to warm the resin and scrape off with a sharp tool, until it can be moved again.
2. Measuring Cups - See "Can I re-use my measuring cups?"
3. Mixing Sticks - If you are using a wooden mixer, the resin can be cut or sanded down to be reused, however we generally would not recommend this. Using a Plastic mixer would be a much better alternative and wiping with Isopropyl Alcohol after use.
4. Pigments - Using a baby wipe drenched in white vinegar is the safest way to clean up spilled pigment.
5. Accessories - If the tools are made from polypropylene or polyethylene, the resin should not stick, and once cured can be peeled off and reused. Alternatively wiping the tools down straight after use with Isopropyl Alcohol will also help keep the tools clean and reusable.
6. Painters Plastic - Resin will not stick to painters plastic, so this is the best option to use on your table and floor surfaces as once the resin has cured, it can easily be peeled off.
Yes, the measuring cups you can find on our website here can easily be reused, as long as you have measured and mixed correctly.
There are a few ways for the measuring jugs to be cleaned and reused:
1. Leave your mixing stick in the jug and allow it to cure, then using the mixing stick, pull the hardened resin out.
2. Leave the resin to cure at the bottom, then once cured push around the sides and bottom of the jug to create an air pocket and then pull the hardened resin out.
3. Tip the measuring jug upside down onto painters plastic or a drop sheet and all the resin to drain out. Then peel off once the resin has cured.
Solvent (i.e. Isopropyl Alcohol) can then be used to wipe the jug clean if needed. Ensure the jug is thoroughly dry before re-using with resin to avoid any contamination.
Alternatively, silicone measuring cups can easily be wiped out and cleaned straight after use, or the resin can be peeled out once hardened. We would recommend avoiding solvents to clean the jug as this will deteriorate the silicone jug and make them unusable.
When purchasing either our U RESIN Cast and U RESIN OceanCast systems you may notice that the bottles/ kegs are not entirely full. This can be shown in the product images on our website.
To assist it keeping our products as cost effective as possible, we use a range of bottles and kegs that are universal to fit all of our resin systems in. The bottles are then filled to the specific weight size for each particular resin kit.
For example, a 6L U RESIN Cast kit will be packed as:
Part A Resin: 4000mls (4 Litres) in a 5 Litre Bottle
Part B Hardener: 2000mls (2 Litres) in a 2 Litre Bottle.
Our larger resin kits: 15L, 20L, 30L, 40L, 50L & 75L + are all packed in Keg form. This is to significantly reduce the cost of bottles and use of excess plastic. As the kegs can be heavy to hold and pour from, they all have a 'Bung' at the bottom of the keg which has the ability to insert a tap for easier decanting.
Click here to view our YouTube video on the easiest way to install a tap into one of our kegs.
If you didn't already know we also have an EBAY store. The eBay store is linked directly to our Industrial division - U RESIN Industrial.
The pricing on our eBay store reflects different quantities of certain products, exclusive products and also covers the significant fees and charges that eBay charge merchants per item and order.
Unfortunately these are costs we cannot absorb, so it is reflected in the pricing of certain items.
Food Safety in resins is a controversial topic. The short answer; our Epoxy Resin systems are food safe for incidental contact only.
For more information and a full explanation, visit our blog post: Is U RESIN Epoxy Resin Food Safe?
Simply put - No.
Each epoxy resin is formulated differently, so it is best to avoid mixing different resins together.
By mixing resins together, you make get dimples, webbing or tacky spots (just to name a few) throughout the art due to a reaction or lack thereof between different brands.
However, applying separate layers of resin on a piece of art is completely ok. We would recommend sanding in-between layers.
Our U RESIN Balm is made from 100% natural ingredients.
Such ingredients include: Natural Bees Wax and Citrus Oil.
It is made in Western Australia from all locally sourced materials making it 100% FOOD SAFE as well as smell great.
Our U RESIN Wax is made from 100% natural ingredients.
Such ingredients include: Natural Bees Wax and Coconut.
It is made in Western Australia from all locally sourced materials making it 100% FOOD SAFE.
This is really a personal preference. Both the U RESIN Balm and U RESIN Wax have been created to finish cheeseboards and other timber surfaces with a Food Safe coating.
The significant differences include:
- U RESIN Balm is citrus 'Scented'
- U RESIN Balm is thinner and softer to apply
- U RESIN Wax is darker in colour
- U RESIN Wax contains Coconut
We recommend using a clean Microfibre cloth with a generous scoop of either product and apply directly to the wood surface.
Work the Balm or Wax in circular motions around the board. Allow the product to sit and absorb into the timber.
If it is the first application on a new board, apply 2-3 coats waiting at least 1 hour between coats. After the final coat wait 24 hours before using as a serving or cutting surface.
If you are re-conditioning a board, apply 1 coat (or more if necessary.) and allow to absorb for 24 hours.
We recommend re-conditioning every 3 months or every 6-8 uses of the board.
If you are new to resin or have been creating but want to try something different but not sure what to create, make sure you visit our Home Page or Gallery to take inspiration from some of our very talented customers and stockists.
Both pages are filled with incredible resin projects. Click the individual photos to see which resin system was used along with the social media @ of the customer.
If you love some of the work our customers have created, just as much as we have. Make sure you drop them a follow on Instagram.
For more ideas, read our Blog Post: What can you make using Epoxy Resin?
Epoxy Pigments can be called a number of things within the resin world, including: Epoxy Paste, Pigment Paste, Epoxy Pigment, Epoxy Colour, Resin Pigment, Lustre Pastes, Basic Pastes, Metallic Pastes and many more.
Generally speaking, an epoxy pigment is a type of pigment that has been manufactured with multiple ingredients to create a highly concentrated colourant that can be mixed into clear Epoxy Resin systems.
A common misconception that is spread by 'artists' is that Epoxy Pigments are simply a Powder and Part A Resin blended together.
However for many brands, like our own and any other high quality pigment brand - this is not the case.
Epoxy Pigments have been designed for artistic applications with ingredients to ensure strong pigmentation, vibrance, and colour stability.
Epoxy Pigments can be found available in many brands, colour shades and opacity.
This is very much a personal preference. Some artists and hobbyists prefer powders and others prefer pastes.
Generally speaking, Powder pigments are best for Casting Projects. They are finer and should be easy to blend, especially in large river table casting pours.
However, you tend you use twice as much powder as you would paste in any sort of project.
Pastes have been designed for a strong pigmentation, so they are a more cost effective option.
Pastes are also available in Pearlescent, Transparent and Opaque finishes. Powders are only available in Pearlescent.
We absolutely do! We love teaching workshops and offer a large variety and style of classes to suit everyone (as best as possible)
You can book a Workshop Here.
If you aren't able to make one of our scheduled workshops and have a group of 3 or more that would like to attend, send us an email at: info@uresin.com.au and we can look at scheduling a private workshop event.

As of 2024, we are now back to taking bookings for travelling workshops. Whether this is down south of WA, or over east we are happily considering all options.
With this, it is entirely dependent on numbers and whether we can gain enough interest to be able to travel and teach. The costs associated with us travelling are much higher, however we will do our best to offer the most affordable options.
You can Express your Interest Here.
If you have a group of 10 or more and have a suitable location already available for us teach in, please email us with further details for us to schedule a private booking.
Additionally if you would like us to travel to you and wish to help us facilitate the event, then we will need to look for a suitable studio/ workshop venue.
The minimum requirements for a resin workshop include:
- Good Ventilation/ Open Space
- Sturdy/ Level Tables (to work on)
- Access to Power Points (for heat guns)
- Bathroom/ Sink
- Dust Free/ As Clean as Possible
- Chairs (optional)
The minimum requirements for a jesmonite workshop include:
- Sturdy Tables (to work on)
- Bathroom/ Sink
- Chairs (optional)
We offer a range of Resin, Jesmonite and Alcohol Ink workshops for corporate and private functions.
These events are customisable with food, drink and cocktail add-on packages available. We can be flexible with workshop date and times to suit your teams schedule.
Email us at: info@uresin.com.au to enquire about our corporate packages and inclusions.
Unfortunately not. As a manufacturer, we are not covered to attend and teach resin workshops for child-age students.
We can refer you to specific resin artists, that do use our products and have good knowledge on our systems that would be happy to teach at a school location. Please contact us, and we can pass the details on.
We can however have students (over the age of 16) attend our studio and complete a workshop. Adult supervision will be required.
Alternatively, we can teach Jesmonite AC100 Workshops. This is a newer form of casting compound that can be used to make various products including Homewares. This is a much safer alternative to using Epoxy Resins.
Again, if this is something you would like, please contact us at: info@uresin.com.au and we will provide more information.
If you are eligible for NDIS payments or support and wish to attend one of our upcoming workshops, then we are happy to arrange this.
This can be done one of few ways, depending on your support allocation:
1. NDIS provide a Visa (Gift) Card, that can be used towards the booking of the workshop. Use this as you would a normal credit card.
2. Pay for the Workshop on our website and have the cost of the booking reimbursed by your NDIS support worker. An invoice is provided upon booking as proof of purchase.
