U RESIN at the Perth Royal Show 2025

So you may have noticed we have been a little bit quiet on the blog and YouTube video front lately. We are so sorry this has been the case BUT we do believe it has been for good reason! We have been super busy working behind the scenes to re-attend Craft Shows like our recent exhibit in July at the Craft Alive Expo at the Claremont Showgrounds. At the same time as working on the Craft Alive show, we got the VERY exciting news that we received a stall location for this years Perth Royal Show. Today’s blog is a little bit of a catch up and what to expect over the coming weeks and months.

Lets talk Craft Alive – 
After hearing wonderful comments from many of our customers in 2024 about the Craft Alive expo, we decided to put our names down for a stall and were fortunate enough to have one this year. After months of prep, we got our crates filled with stock, information and sample products ready to go set up and exhibit. It was a 4-day show (running over Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday). We met so many new faces and even some familiar ones that we were so pleased to be able to reconnect with after many years.

We had beautiful art displays from some of our very talented, local customers. A huge thank you goes out to those artists once again. If you visited our stall or saw any of the social media posts about them, we will list their products and socials here if you would like to follow them or contact them to purchase any of the pieces on display.

We were so pleased to be able to sell one of the gorgeous beach artworks by Love to Flow as well as the incredible surfboard from Boards by Mac during our time at the show.

Not only did we exhibit at Craft Alive, we were also given the opportunity to teach a heap of Jesmonite workshops where we got to create a range of coasters, and all students got to go home with a kit to continue creating more at home. This was a huge success and super popular which we were so pleased about. We even had a few students that had never heard about Jesmonite or Eco-Resins before but were thrilled to learn a new hobby and get creative with it.

We want to thank everyone that attended the Craft Alive Expo, despite the unfriendly weather over the weekend. As well as a massive thank you to the Craft Alive team. The entire process from booking, to set up, exhibiting and pack up was seamless and one of the best companies we have had the pleasure of working with for an Expo.

Next up: Perth Royal Show – 

Now onto our latest most exciting news! We applied for the Royal Show early May and had come to believe that maybe we weren’t going to have a successful application. Then in early July the email came! “Congratulations! We’re delighted to offer you a site at the 2025 Perth Royal Show.” This was a massive achievement for us as there were over 700 applications for stalls and this is our first time ever applying and being able to exhibit.
Whilst this isn’t a usual expo that we would attend, we thought there is no better opportunity for us to spread the word about our range of products and workshops that are all made right here in Western Australia. So with less than 40 days to go, we are now super busy re-packing for our next expo.

The Perth Royal Show runs for 8 days (Saturday 27th September to Saturday 4th of October 2025) and this will be the only opportunity you’ll have to see us ‘open’ on a weekend as we head closer to the Christmas Season.

Time: Shopping Pavilion is open between 10am – 7pm daily.

Due to the size and how the show is run, we will have very limited stock available to purchase during the event (mostly so you aren’t stuck carrying heavy craft supplies around all day). But what you will find, by visiting our stall, you’ll receive an exclusive discount code that can be used either online or in store for our wide range of products. This will be a limited time, exclusive code! This will allow you to purchase in your own time and shop our full range of products. For any of our regulars, all products will also be able to be purchased on the day with Free Shipping available after the show. We will also be taking Workshop Bookings once again to bring back in the coming months.

So if we are exhibiting at the Perth Royal Show, what does this mean for our shop and website? Well this means we will be CLOSED between the 25th of September 2025 until the 6th of October 2025. Any orders placed during this time from our website will be packed upon our return after the show has finished. This also means our retail shop will be CLOSED to the public. Any collection of orders will not be available. The only way you will be able to see us is through the Perth Royal Show during these dates.

We will do everything we can to continue responding to enquiries during this time, but please do expect some delays as these will be very long days for us and we will have very limited time to be able to respond. Any urgent enquiries should be directed to our email: info@uresin.com.au
