September Processing Times and Store Operations
September Processing Times and Store Operations UPDATE. Here at U RESIN, we always like to keep our customers informed of anything that may impact your experience with us. In case you missed our recent Social Media posts, throughout the month of September, we’ll be operating a little differently than usual, so we wanted to provide everyone with a quick update to help you plan ahead.
What’s Happening?
From the 3rd September 2026 through to 5th October 2026, three members of our team will be away on annual leave, travelling both interstate and overseas.
Now U RESIN will remain open as normal, and we’ll continue to manufacture, pack and dispatch orders throughout this period. However, with a significantly smaller team available, there will unfortunately be some temporary changes to our processing times. As a family owned and operated business, even having one person away plays a big impact on our day-to-day operations, let alone 3.
Because we have known about this for a while now, we’ve been working hard behind the scenes to prepare as much stock as possible before September arrives, but as a small family business, there is only so much we can prepare for – especially since we are less than 4 months away from Christmas! (Crazy isn’t it?!)
As some of you will also know, I’m officially in my 3rd trimester of Pregnant (also where has that time gone?). This means there may be occasions where we need to close the retail store a little earlier than usual for medical appointments and check-ups. IF this does happen, we’ll do our best to provide as much notice as possible via our social media pages.
So what does all of this mean for U RESIN?
We expect there will be longer than normal processing times for online orders throughout September 2026. While we’ll continue packing orders every business day where possible, there may be occasions where dispatch takes a little longer than you’re accustomed to, as we will need to prioritise any in-store customers.
If you require products for: workshops, commissions, events, markets, or time-sensitive projects, we strongly recommend placing your order well in advance. Planning ahead will help ensure your supplies arrive when you need them. As always, all online orders will receive a tracking link and confirmation email once it has been shipped for you to track the progress of your orders.
If you’re placing a Click & Collect order, we kindly ask that you wait until you receive your collection confirmation email before coming to our warehouse. Orders are packed in the order they are received, and with fewer staff available we unfortunately won’t be able to prioritise or prepare orders before they’ve reached the front of the queue. Receiving your confirmation email means your order has been packed, checked and is ready for collection.
Any sooner than this, we will not be able to guarantee that the stock will be readily available. This small step will help avoid unnecessary waiting or disappointment.
With fewer staff available, you will also notice slightly longer response times to: Emails, Product enquiries and General customer service questions (via Phone). Please rest assured that we will get back to all emails and messages as quickly as possible. To avoid any additional delays if we miss a call, please leave a detailed voice message or text message for us to get back to you.
As mentioned already, our retail store (Maddington, WA) will remain open. If you’re local to Perth, you’re still welcome to pop in and browse our full range of products.
A reminder of our Trading Hours:
Monday – Thursday: 9:30am and 3:00pm
Friday – Sunday: CLOSED
Public Holidays (28th September): CLOSED
The only exception to these hours may be the occasional early closure if we need to attend pregnancy-related appointments. If this occurs, we’ll update our social media pages as early as possible as we do understand this can be an inconvenience for some.
Thank You for supporting a Family Business!
One of the many things we’ve always been proud of is being a genuine family-owned and operated business. Unlike larger retailers with dozens (if not hundreds) of staff, our small team wears many hats each day. From manufacturing and packing orders to answering phones, developing new products, assisting customers in-store, creating educational content, teaching workshops and everything in between.
September will certainly keep our little team busy, but we’re committed to continuing to provide the best service we can. We simply ask for a little extra patience and kindness while we work through everything as quickly as possible. Your patience, understanding and support genuinely mean the world to us, and we’re incredibly grateful to have such an amazing community behind us.
We look forward to getting back to our usual turnaround times and response times from the 5th of October 2026 onwards. We really appreciate your understanding while we juggle a busy month both personally and professionally.
