U RESIN has acquired Aussie Moulds – In case you haven’t heard the news – U RESIN has just acquired the brand “Aussie Moulds & Resin Art Supplies”. Aussie Moulds was originally founded by Vicki Green in or around 2019, and has now become part of the U RESIN group.

Aussie Moulds History –
After many years of health issues that were taking a drastic toll on Vicki Green’s mental health, she began her new venture of Aussie Moulds. Vicki had seen a piece of Resin Art on display in a gallery, that she thought was truly stunning and she was then inspired to learn and create her own vibrant Resin Art pieces. This is where Vicki’s journey began, discovering the world of Resin Art with all its techniques and applications. Vicki spent months practicing, learning and researching to find the best methods for creating her very own resin art.

Vicki says: “Being able to work in the studio with the solitude it provides, allows me to immerse myself in a project and release my thought processes to the job at hand. There are always new things to learn and successfully applying them to a project provides a sense of accomplishment and reward.” 

After Vicki was invited to exhibit at the Downlands College Art Show in Toowoomba, she felt greatly encouraged to continue with this passion and expand further. This is when Vicki began running Resin Workshops in Toowoomba and Lockyer Valley, teaching others the proper handling of resin, various techniques and so much more. With this, also came the expansion of selling products that she loved and used for her very own projects.

Unfortunately, in more recent times Vicki has found a further decline in her health which has now become her first priority. Because of this, Vicki decided it was best to close her shop and sell off her stock. After seeing this, and appreciating Vicki’s passion for supporting mental health (something we are extremely passionate about), we decided to contact her and began the talks of taking over Aussie Moulds.

So.. What now –

Well we know just how loved Aussie Moulds was in the Resin Art community as Vicki offered the largest variety of silicone moulds within Australia. We also want to continue the legacy of Aussie Moulds being such a well known and respected brand for over 5 years. So we fully intend to keep it that way! Aussie Moulds will continue to run as you have always known and loved it. We will continue to ship out stock from both QLD and WA warehouses and will be introducing a few new products to the website as well.
Unfortunately some products will not be returning to stock, however we will do our very best to find similar products or offer alternatives so you can keep enjoying such a huge variety of products for your Resin Art journey.

We will also be introducing a new Loyalty Program, so you can sign up and get rewarded every time you purchase through Aussie Moulds.

We are in the process of a website ‘face lift’ so stay tuned for it’s official re-launch in the coming weeks! If you want to see the full range of Silicone moulds available, head over to our new website at: www.aussiemolds.com. Aussie Moulds will remain an “ONLINE” business, which offers products that can be shipped Australia wide (and potentially internationally – very soon!)

With all these changes, there will be no direct impact to U RESIN as you know it – we will simply be expanding! As Aussie Moulds will remain an online business, this means the stock will not be available within the U RESIN shopfront. Unfortunately there is simply way too much stock to have everything available in store. We will however offer a collection option from the Aussie Moulds site, so you will be able to place your orders through the website and collect them once we have notified you everything is ready.
